For aviation enthusiasts, the Experimental Aircraft Association, EAA, located in Oshkosh, is a short fifteen-minute drive from Menasha. Each summer, EAA' s Annual Fly-In brings aviation experts and hobbists from around the world. The organization maintains a comprehensive aviation museum, and conducts year round events.

Professional music and theater productions from across the country appear at Green Bay's Weidner Center and Appleton's Performing Arts Center.
Within our city boundaries, the UW Fox Valley Barlow Planetarium  produces exceptional astronomy-related events throughout the year.

The UW Fox Valley campus also houses the Weis Earth Science Museum, whose mission is to depict and promote the geology of Wisconsin and its rich mining heritage. Heckrodt Wetland Reserve, offers environmental education and activities for young and old.

Menasha and the Fox River Valley also offer outstanding outdoor recreation — hunting, fishing, biking, and boating. Menasha is located on the shores of Lake Winnebago, the Fox River and Little Lake Butte des Morts.
